About the event
Join us for our 1st annual Sock Lady's Sock Hop Sock Raiser and help us celebrate our Unit 34 Queen of Veteran Services, Louise Loyd's 100th birthday which is April 11th!
For decades, Louise has collected socks from all over the city and from many organizations and individuals. These socks are distributed by Louise herself every year for our homeless veterans at the HVAF Stand Down in September. So yes, we are actually raising socks to help the Queen in her mission to support our homeless veterans.
